Mit grosser Freude und Dankbarkeit schauen wir auf ein Vierteljahrhundert Global Art Source zurück! Was vor 25 Jahren mit einer Idee begann, wurde durch das Vertrauen, die Zusammenarbeit und die Unterstützung vieler wunderbarer Menschen zu einer inspirierenden Reise. Unser herzlicher Dank gilt unserer damaligen Mitbegründerin, Meagan Fallone, unseren Kundinnen und Kunden, unseren Sammlerinnen und Sammlern, unseren Künstlerinnen und Künstler sowie allen Wegbegleiterinnen und Wegbegleitern, die Global Art Source in den vergangenen Jahren mit ihrem Vertrauen, ihrem Engagement und ihrer Freundschaft und Treue geprägt haben. Vielen Dank, dass Sie Teil dieser Geschichte sind! Die Anselm Kiefer Foundation in Eschaton ist kein klassisches Museum, sondern ein begehbares Gesamtkunstwerk. Hier wandeln Sie durch monumentale Installationen, geheimnisvolle Tunnel und weitläufige Landschaften, die Kunst und Architektur verschmelzen lassen. Jeder Raum erzählt von Erinnerung, Mythologie, Geschichte und Vergänglichkeit – eindrucksvoll, rätselhaft und voller Symbolik. Ein Besuch ist weniger eine Ausstellung als eine intensive Reise in die Gedankenwelt eines der bedeutendsten Künstler unserer Zeit. Die Foundation kann nur als Führung besucht werden. Art Cologne Palma: Wo Zeitgenössische Kunst auf das Mittelmeer trifft Art Cologne - die älteste Messe für moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst weltweit – eröffnete im vergangenen April mit Art Cologne Palma Mallorca ein neues Messeformat auf den Balearen. Die exklusive Kunstmesse vereint eine sorgfältig kuratierte Auswahl führender nationaler und internationaler Galerien.
Daten für 2027: 1. bis 4. April 2027 im markanten Palau de Congressos Palma Bay. Der vom spanischen Architekten Francisco Mangado entworfene Bau liegt direkt am Meer, nur wenige Gehminuten von Palmas Altstadt. Thomas Schütte: “Ackermans Tempel”: Ein verborgenes Lichtspiel aus Stein Thomas Schüttes begehbare Skulptur in Llucmajor verbindet Marès-Kalkstein, einen monumentalen Frauenkopf 2006 und faszinierende Lichtspiele zu einem außergewöhnlichen Zusammenspiel von Architektur, Skulptur und Natur auf Mallorca. Der Titel „Ackermans Tempel“ geht auf den deutschen multidisziplinären Künstler, Bildhauer und Kunstsammler Heinz Ackermans zurück, auf dessen Anwesen die begehbare Skulptur 2012 realisiert wurde. Thomas Schütte schuf den Tempel als ortsbezogenes Werk und widmete ihn seinem langjährigen Freund. Da sich der “Ackermans Tempel” auf dem Gelände der privaten Finca mit Weingut von Heinz Ackermans befindet, ist er nicht öffentlich zugänglich. Er kann jedoch im Rahmen organisierter Kunstexkursionen besucht werden, wo auch die ausdrucksstarken Skulpturen von Heinz Ackermans besichtigt werden können. Heinz Ackermans (*1949) arbeitet in seinem Oeuvre mit verschiedensten Materialien und beschäftigt sich vor allem mit der menschlichen Figur und der skulpturalen Form.

Die permanente Installation lädt dazu ein, den Stadtraum mit neuen Augen zu erleben – poetisch, überraschend und kostenlos zugänglich.

Die Villa Beer zählt zu den bedeutendsten Beispielen der Wiener Moderne. Entworfen von Josef Frank und Oskar Wlach, verbindet sie elegante Architektur mit einem innovativen Wohnkonzept, das Licht, Offenheit und Lebensqualität in den Mittelpunkt stellt. It is with great joy and gratitude that we look back on a quarter-century of Global Art Source! What began 25 years ago as an idea has become an inspiring journey thanks to the trust, collaboration, and support of so many wonderful people. Our heartfelt thanks go to our co-founder at the time, Meagan Fallone, our clients, our collectors, our artists, and all our companions who have shaped Global Art Source over the years with their trust, dedication, friendship, and loyalty. Thank you so much for being part of this story! Once more we’d like to share some highlights from our daily lives: Perhaps you’d be interested in a trip to the Anselm Kiefer Foundation in Eschaton, South of France, or a trip to Vienna, where we made two new discoveries. Art Cologne Palma: Contemporary Art Meets the Mediterranean In early April, Art Cologne - the world’s oldest art fair for modern and contemporary art - launched a new format in the Balearic Islands. The exclusive fair brings together a carefully curated selection of leading national and international galleries.
Dates for 2027: April 1-4th, at the striking Palau de Congressos Palma Bay which was designed by Spanish architect Francisco Mangado, just a short walk from Palma’s historic centre. Ackermans Temple: A Hidden Play of Light in Stone Thomas Schütte’s walk-in sculpture (2012) in Llucmajor brings together Marès limestone, a monumental reclining female head (2006), and mesmerizing plays of light, creating an extraordinary dialogue between architecture, sculpture, and nature on Mallorca. The title “Ackermans Temple” refers to the German multidisciplinary artist, sculptor and art collector Heinz Ackermans, on whose estate the sculpture was realized in 2012. Thomas Schütte conceived the temple specifically for this site and dedicated it to his long-time friend. Since the “Ackermans Temple” is located on the grounds of Heinz Ackermans’ private finca and winery, it is not open to the public. However, it can be visited as part of organized art tours, during which visitors can also view Heinz Ackermans’ expressive sculptures. Heinz Ackermans (*1949) works with different mediums.
