«Women at work» - unser Moto für unseren Juni Newsletter! Mit Freude stellen wir neue Editionen vor, die zwei innovative Künstlerinnen für unsere Editions Serie erstellt haben: Die in Amerika lebende deutsche Künstlerin Bianca Pratorius, die mit Filz sinnliche Wandinstallationen fertigt sowie die holländische Künstlerin Hetty Huisman, die nebst Skulpturen in Zink nun auch eine ganz besonders poetische interaktive Edition erschaffen hat, die zum Spielen einlädt. Bianca Pratorius begann ihre Ausbildung an der Holzfachschule, Köln, wo sie ihren Abschluss in feinem Möbelbau und Design machte. Anschliessend zog sie nach Miami, wo sie das International Fine Arts College besuchte. Heute lebt und arbeitet sie in der Gegend von Chattanooga/Tennessee. Ihre Werke sind in bedeutenden Sammlungen auf der ganzen Welt vertreten und in zahlreichen Einzel- sowie Gruppenausstellungen gezeigt worden.

"Women at work" - our motto for our June newsletter. We are pleased to present new editions created by two innovative women artists for our Editions serie: The American-based German artist Bianca Pratorius, who creates sensual wall installations with felt, and the Dutch artist Hetty Huisman, who, in addition to sculptures in zinc, has now also created a particularly poetic interactive edition that invites you to play.  Let yourself be drawn into new forms of artistic expression without much explanation. As Louise Bourgeois so aptly said: "A work of art doesn't have to be explained".

Bianca Pratorius started her formal training at the Holzfachschule, Köln where she received her degree in fine furniture building and design and subsequently moved to Miami where she attended International Fine Arts College. She now lives and works in the Chattanooga/Tennessee area.

She has had many solo exhibitions and has been participating in many group exhibitions. Her works are represented in major collections around the world.
